Pamphlet collections

The resources in this section were originally created in 2002 by the 19th Century Pamphlets cataloguing project. These include descriptions of 19th Century pamphlet collections, with information about how to gain access to them. Those collections which were digitised in the later 19th Century Pamphlets Online project are clearly marked and can be searched from this current website.

The cataloguing project covered a number of the most important pamphlet collections held within the UK, but there are others. Of particular note is the pamphlet collection of the British Library of Political and Economic Science at LSE. A large number of pamphlets from this collection were digitised by the 19th Century Pamphlets Online project and can be searched on this site.

Pamphlet descriptions can be browsed below in two ways: by institution or subject.
